About iTechVora
iTechVora helps you understand consumer technology, choose products that fit your needs and get more from the devices you already own.
Technology decisions often come with unfamiliar specifications, competing claims and more options than anyone needs. Our aim is to explain what those details mean in everyday use, with clear language, useful context and honest limits.
What we cover
Our coverage spans smartphones, laptops, TVs, cameras, audio products, monitors, tablets, wearables and accessories. We focus on the questions that matter before and after a purchase: compatibility, software support, usability, performance, battery life, connectivity and value.
- News and launch coverage: what has been announced, what is confirmed and what still needs checking.
- Product and specification explainers: what a feature does, who might benefit and which limitations to consider.
- Buying guides and editorial comparisons: practical trade-offs for different needs, budgets and setups.
- Reviews: evaluations that distinguish direct experience from research and manufacturer information.
- How-to guides: clear steps to help you set up, use and troubleshoot your technology.
The person behind iTechVora
iTechVora was created by Anil Kumar, a software engineer with more than 20 years of experience and a longstanding interest in consumer technology. His work brings a technical perspective to the practical questions readers ask about everyday devices.
Anil follows product launches, specifications, software features and industry developments. Through iTechVora, he aims to make that information easier to understand without unnecessary jargon or unsupported promises. Visit his author profile to read his biography and articles.
How we approach our work
Useful technology coverage starts with a clear distinction between what is known, what a manufacturer claims and what an author has personally tested. A specification overview is not a hands-on review, and a high specification number does not automatically make a product the better choice.
Our Editorial & Review Policy sets out our standards for sourcing, testing disclosures, recommendations, corrections and commercial relationships. It also explains why an article may not include a score and how readers can report a problem.
